Most of you know our story, so we’ll keep it short :-)

Sylvie was born in Belgium, and at the young age of 2 moved to the United States, and later on to the UK, United Arab Emirates, and the Netherlands. Miguel was born in Portugal, and when he was 16 years old he moved to the Netherlands.

As luck would have it, we both decided to study Industrial Design at the Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. We started dating in March of 2014, and went on to share many adventures since. It started with a semester living abroad together in Valencia, moving to Eindhoven for our masters degree, and finally settling in Utrecht with our 2 Portuguese cats Mochi & Po.

On another adventure to the island of Madeira, after 10 years of being together (and pretty much feeling married after buying and apartment and having our cats), Miguel proposed during a sunrise swim in the ocean and we decided to get married!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Portugal in Miguel’s grandmother’s house where so many amazing memories have been made.
